Heavy Equipment Transport in Sebring
Sebring is the Highlands County stop we run most. US-27 south from Frostproof. Heavy equipment and oversized loads. Call 863-632-7302.
Grove roads and town lots both show up. Soft shoulders after rain are the usual problem. Race-week traffic is the one week we push back on a wide daytime move unless you already have a lane. The rest of the year we measure, chain, and go. Tell us if you also need Avon Park before we leave the shop.
Lowboy and RGN Transport in Sebring
Grove roads and town lots both show up. Soft shoulders after rain are the usual problem. We ask before we kneel the RGN in dirt.
The lowboy keeps tall iron under US-27 bridges. If the grove entrance is caliche, say so. We may meet on pavement and walk the machine in.
Oversized Load Transport in Sebring
Race-week traffic is the one week we push back on a wide daytime move unless you already have a lane. The rest of the year we permit and go.
Height still matters at overpasses and lights on 27. We file Florida paperwork when the load needs it. Escorts get added when the width requires them.
Heavy Haul Trucking in Sebring
Road work and commercial pads bring the heavier iron. We take it when the weight fits. We will say no if it does not.
We haul up to 82,000 pounds. Send a ticket or a data plate. An empty deck back to Frostproof is a long deadhead. If you have a return load, say it.
Construction Equipment Transport in Sebring
The machines are the same ones we haul in Polk. The drive is longer. If you also need a drop in Avon Park, tell us before we leave the shop.
If the unit lives in Polk and the job is in Sebring, we are the haul. If it stays in Highlands for a month, we can bring it back when you call.
The same trailer and driver also cover other jobs. If yours is different, see the Hardee County, Winter Haven, Hillsborough County, and Orange County service areas.
Heavy Equipment Hauling in Sebring
Avon Park is the next town north. We can share a trailer day when both windows are real.
Hauling here is often a commercial pad or a grove-road drop. Give us the surface and both addresses. Call 863-632-7302.
Equipment Transport for Contractors and Rental Companies in Sebring
If your unit lives in Polk and the job is in Sebring, we are the haul. If it stays in Highlands for a month, we can bring it back when you call.
Book the return when you know the date. Email [email protected] or call the shop.
Sebring Grove Roads and Caliche Pad Loading
South of Frostproof, the roads change. Around Sebring, a machine may sit at the end of a grove road, in the back of a citrus block, or on a caliche pad that was built for trucks but not for a long trailer.
Caliche holds well when it is dry and gets slick when it is wet. A grove road can have soft edges, overhanging limbs, and a gate too narrow for a trailer. We ask about all of that before we leave.
The lowboy trailer is usually the right deck here. It keeps the load low under limbs and wires, and it gives the machine a gentle ramp. Where the road is too soft for the whole truck, we stop on pavement or firm shell and have the operator walk the machine to us.
Send us a photo of the road in, the last stretch to the machine, and any gate. Tell us who will meet us. A grove owner who can open a gate and point to the right pad saves more time than a perfect plan. Call 863-632-7302 and describe the pickup.
Tractor and Implement Hauling for Sebring Groves and Ranches
Highlands County is working land. Groves, cattle ranches, and sod and vegetable fields all use tractors and implements, and the repair shop is not always next door. We move them with the same truck we use for construction iron.
Our farm equipment service covers tractors, loaders, sprayers, and other field machines. Wide implements are the usual problem. A folded sprayer or a bush hog on a tractor can be over 8 ft 6 in wide. We measure it and check the permit rules for the route.
A few things help us plan:
- The make, model, and weight of the tractor
- Which implements ride on the deck and which stay home
- Whether the machine has a front loader, dual wheels, or a cab
- The surface where we will load, and who will open the gate
Timing in farm work follows the crop and the weather, not the calendar. If you need a machine back in the field by a certain day, say so on the first call. We do not promise arrival times, but we plan around the date you give us. 863-632-7302.
Sebring Heavy Haul Routes on US-27 and US-98
US-27 is our main road into Sebring. It runs north and south through Highlands County, and it ties Frostproof to Avon Park, Sebring, and Lake Placid. US-98 gives us another route when height, a lane closure, or a pad location calls for it.
The route is straightforward, but a heavy haul still needs a plan. We check height against the bridges and lights. We check the weight against the deck. We check the width against the permit rules. When the load is wide enough to need an escort, we add one.
We haul up to 82,000 pounds with the Kenworth and the RGN or lowboy. If you are not sure what the machine weighs, send the model and the attachments. A wrong weight guess is how a simple move turns into a re-plan.
Rural roads in Highlands County can have soft shoulders, narrow lanes, and farm traffic. We drive them slowly and pick our turns. Tell us if the pad is on a county road or a private lane, and we will plan the last stretch. Call 863-632-7302.
Dozer, Grader, and Road Work Equipment Hauling in Sebring
Road work and site clearing bring the heavier iron to Highlands County. Dozers, graders, scrapers, and large excavators are not light, and they do not ride just anywhere. The deck, the ramps, and the chains all have to match the machine.
Graders are long. Scrapers are wide. A big dozer can use most of the deck rating by itself. We ask for the make, model, operating weight, and any attachments, and we tell you plainly if the machine does not fit one load.
Some machines may need to be broken down. A blade, a ripper, or a counterweight can come off, ride on the deck, and go back on at the site. If that applies, tell the operator before we arrive. It changes the width and sometimes the permit.
A pad in Highlands County can be sand, shell, or hard pan, and each one takes a trailer differently. Send a photo of the unload spot and the road to it. Call 863-632-7302 with the machine and the job address, and we will say what the truck can do.
Sebring Round Trips and Return Scheduling from Frostproof
Sebring is a long way from a rental yard in Polk, and an empty deck back to the shop is a cost for everyone. A good plan has a load both ways. If you have a machine to drop in Sebring and another to bring back, tell us on the first call.
Many of our Sebring jobs start in Polk County and finish in Highlands. A unit goes down for a month of work and comes back when the job ends. We would rather book the return early than fit it in at the last minute.
Avon Park sits on the way. If you have a second stop there, say so before we leave the shop. Two drops on one trip beat two separate trips.
Our heavy equipment transport service covers the general process. For the wider area, see the Highlands County page. When you are ready, request a quote or call 863-632-7302. Dispatch is open 24 hours.
